EWGA Inspection
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Turn the ignition switch "OFF". Disconnect EWGA connector.
- Measure resistance between EWGA motor DC terminals of EWGA. (Component Side)
Specification: Approx. 1.44 ~ 1.96 Ω at 20°C (68°F)
- Is the measured value within specification?
YES
- Check for poor connection between ECM and component: backed out terminal, improper mating, broken locks or poor terminal to wire connection. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Check EWGA for contamination, deterioration, or damage. Substitute with a known-good EWGA and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace EWGA and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
