Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Electrical Check
  1. Open or short to ground in power harness
  2. Short to ground in control harness
  3. Poor connection or damaged harness
  4. Faulty HO2S
Prerequisite condition
  • Engine speed is higher than 32 rpm.
  • Exhaust gas temperature model is higher than 300°C (572°F).
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V.
Threshold Value
  • Sensor heater control circuit is shorted to ground
