Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Electrical Check
  1. Short to battery power supply in control harness
  2. Poor connection or damaged harness
  3. Faulty HO2S
Prerequisite condition
  • Exhaust gas temperature model is higher than 300°C (572°F).
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V.

  • Sensor heater control circuit is shorted to battery power supply line.
