Detecting Condition |
Possible Cause |
| Case 1 |
Main Action |
- Deviation check between actual CAM position and CAM set point position in case of changing set point (Intake CVVT slow response)
|
- CVVT Assembly
|
| Prerequisite condition |
- Camshaft set point movement is greater than 16°CRK within shorter than 1.5 seconds.
- Camshaft set point since engine starts is moved more than 0 times.
- Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V.
- Engine speed is between 600 to 1500 and 5000 rpm.
- Engine oil temperature model is between 20°C (68°F) and 120°C (248°F)
|
| Threshold Value |
- CAM position movement within 1.52 seconds is less than 4°CRK.
|
| Case 2 |
Main Action |
- Deviation check between actual CAM position and CAM set point position (Intake CVVT steady deviation)
|
| Prerequisite condition |
- Elapsed time after engine start is longer than 1.5 seconds.
- Camshaft set point since engine starts is moved more than 0 times.
- Camshaft set point is 3°CRK away from full retarded position.
- Engine speed is between 600 to 1500 and 5000 rpm.
- Engine oil temperature model is between 20°C (68°F) and 120°C (248°F).
- Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V.
|
| Threshold Value |
- The absolute value of difference between Camshaft position actual value and set point is greater than 85° CRK/second.
