Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Electrical Check
  1. Open in control circuit
  2. Poor connection or damaged harness
  3. e-CVVT Assembly
Case 1 Prerequisite condition
  • e-CVVT relay is ON.
  • e-CVVT control is functioning.
  • Voltage after e-CVVT relay is between 10V and 16V.
Threshold Value
  • Measured current under the condition of the above of PWM 30% is lower than or equal to 0.5A to 1A.
Case 2 Prerequisite condition
  • e-CVVT relay is ON.
  • e-CVVT control is functioning.
  • Voltage after e-CVVT relay is between 10V and 16V.
Threshold Value
  • Power stage of e-CVVT motor is OFF.
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL On Condition
  • 2nd Driving Cycle
