Repair Procedures: Replacement

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove the crankshaft damper pulley.

    (Refer to Timing System - "CRANKSHAFT DAMPER PULLEY ")

  2. Remove the front oil seal (A).

  3. Install the new front oil seal.
    1. Apply engine oil on the edge of new front oil seal.
      NOTE:
      • Remove any debris from the lip portion of the oil seal.
    2. Using the SST (0K231-2C200, 09231-H1100), install a new front oil seal.
      NOTE:
      • Always use a new front oil seal.
  4. Install the crankshaft damper pulley.

    (Refer to Timing System - "CRANKSHAFT DAMPER PULLEY ")
