Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Remove the engine room under cover.

    (Refer to Engine and Transmission Assembly - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")

  2. Remove the drive belt and water pump belt.

    (Refer to Timing System - "DRIVE BELT ")

  3. Install the SST (0K231-2C100) on the crankshaft damper pulley, and then tighten the bolts (A).

  4. Install the SSTs (09231-2J210, 09231-D2100) on the SST (0K231-2C100) and then unfasten the crankshaft damper pulley mounting bolt.

    NOTE:
    • Inset a adapter 5 mm (0.1969 in.) + 20 mm (0.7874 in.) of SST (09231-D2100) between SST (09231-2J210) and SST (0K231-2C100).

      And then tighten bolts 45 mm (1.7717 in.) of SST (09231-D2100)

    • When unfasten the crankshaft damper pulley mounting bolt, fix the SST 09231-2J210 on the sub frame.

  5. Remove the crankshaft damper pulley (A).
