[Extension housing oil seal]

- Separate the propeller shaft (A) after loosening the bolts.
- After releasing the caulking, remove the flange assembly by removing the locking nut (35 mm) and O-ring.
Tightening torque :
245.2 - 264.8 N.m (25.0 - 27.0 kgf.m, 180.8 - 195.3 lb-ft)
CAUTION:- Do not reuse locking nut and O-ring.
- Remove the oil seal (A) by using a screw driver.
- Replace a new one and install the oil seal by using the special service tool (09452-25200).
- Apply the lithium grease (0.2 - 0.5g) to lip of the oil seal.
- To install, reverse the removal procedures.
