Signal Circuit Inspection
- Connect all unit/module's connector.
- IG key "ON", Engine "OFF".
- Perform "Oscilloscope" procedure in the "Diagnosis" with GDS as follows.
- Measure the signal waveform between "B_CAN High" terminal of SLB ("DRIVER LUMBAR SUPPORT UNIT") harness connector and chassis ground.
- Measure the signal waveform between "B_CAN LOW" terminal of "SLB" harness connector and chassis ground.
■ Reference Data
- Does the measured signal waveform follow the Reference Data?
YES
- Disconnect B_CAN communication units one by one and monitor DTC to find the cause.
- If the DTC erase, substitute with a known-good unit and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the unit and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Check for Open, Short to Battery/Ground in B_CAN Line.
- Repair as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
