Repair Procedures: Replacement

CAUTION:
  • Be careful not to scratch or dent the crash pad garnish and door trim upper garnish because these parts are made of weak material (real wood).
  • Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
NOTE:
  • When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
  • When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface.
  • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
  1. Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover [RH] (A).

  2. After loosening the mounting screw, remove the crash pad side garnish assembly [RH] (A).

  3. Disconnect the emergency light switch connector (A).

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
