Signal Circuit Inspection
- Connect all unit/module's connector.
- IG key "ON", Engine "OFF".
- Perform "Oscilloscope" procedure in the "Diagnosis" with GDS.
- Measure the signal waveform between "C_CAN High" terminal of HUD ("HEAD-UP DISPLAY") harness connector and chassis ground.
- Measure the signal waveform between "C_CAN LOW" terminal of HUD harness connector and chassis ground.
Reference data
- Does the measured signal waveform follow the reference data?
YES
- Disconnect C_CAN communication units one by one and monitor DTC to find the cause.
→ If the DTC erase, substitute with a known-good unit and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the unit and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Check for open, short to battery/ground in C_CAN line.
→ Repair as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Disconnect C_CAN communication units one by one and monitor DTC to find the cause.
