Circuit/System Verification

WARNING:

If DTC P2724 is present, the vehicle could have forward propulsion while in neutral. Failure to keep the brake pedal depressed while starting or shifting through the gear ranges may cause the vehicle to move forward resulting in potential vehicle damage and possibly injury or death.

Verify the condition does not exist: Incorrect fluid level or condition - Refer to: Transmission Fluid Level and Condition Check
- If a condition exists
  Repair or replace as necessary
- Go to next step: If no condition exists
Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
Clear the DTCs.
Road test the vehicle. - Refer to: Road Test
Verify DTC P0716, P0717, P0722, P0723 is not set.
- If any of the DTCs are set
  Refer to: Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle
- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set
Verify DTC P2723, P2724 is not set.
- If DTC P2723 or P2724 is set
  Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set
Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
  Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
All OK.
