Installation Procedure

    Maneuver the right rear brake front pipe (3) into the vehicle.

  2. Remove the plug from the rear brake crossover pipe inlet.
  3. CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution .

  4. Front Brake Pipe Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Rear Brake Crossover Pipe Replacement 
  5. Rear Brake Rear Pipe Clip (1) - Engage

    Brake and Fuel Pipe Clip (1) - Engage [2x]

  7. Fuel Tank - Install - Fuel Tank Replacement (AWD) , or Fuel Tank Replacement (FWD)

    Rear Brake Intermediate Pipe Clip (2) - Engage [2x]

  9. Front Brake and Fuel Feed Front and Evaporative Emission Pipe Clip (1) - Engage [5x]

    Front Brake and Fuel Feed Front and Evaporative Emission Pipe Clip (2) - Engage

  11. Rear Brake Front Pipe Clip (1) - Engage
  12. Underbody Rear Air Deflector - Install - Underbody Rear Air Deflector Replacement

    Brake and Fuel Pipe Shield (1) - Install

    Front Brake Pipe Clip (2) - Engage

  15. Remove the cap from the brake master cylinder outlet.
  16. Front Brake Pipe Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Brake Master Cylinder Replacement - With Power Brake Booster and Electronic Brake Control Module 
  17. Rear Wheelhouse Liner-Left Side - Install - Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (Equinox) , or Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (Terrain)
  18. Radiator Surge Tank - Install - Radiator Surge Tank Replacement
  19. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
  20. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) 
  21. Check the brake system for leaks.
