Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
- Radiator Surge Tank - Remove - Radiator Surge Tank Replacement
- Front Wheelhouse Liner-Left Side - Remove - Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (Equinox) , or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (Terrain)
Front Brake Pipe Nut (1) - Remove
- Cap the brake master cylinder outlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
- Front Brake Pipe Clip (2) - Disengage
Front Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Disengage
Front Brake Pipe Nut (1) - Remove
- Front Brake Hose Retainer (3) - Remove
- Plug the front brake hose inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
- Maneuver the left front brake pipe (2) out of the vehicle.
