- Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling
Windshield Garnish Molding (1) - Remove [2x] - Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement (Equinox)
Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover (1) - Remove [2x] - Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement (Equinox)
Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet - Left Side (2) - Remove - Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Replacement - Left Side (Equinox)
Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet - Left Side (2) - Remove - Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Replacement - Left Side (Equinox)
Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet - Right Side (2) - Remove - Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Replacement - Right Side (Equinox)
Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet - Right Side (2) - Remove - Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Replacement - Right Side (Equinox)
Serial Data Gateway Module (1) - Remove - Serial Data Gateway Module Replacement (Equinox)

Radio Control (1) - Remove - Radio Control Assembly Replacement (Equinox)

Instrument Panel Compartment Door (1) - Remove - Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement (Equinox)
Radio Front Speaker (2) - Remove [2x] - Radio Front Speaker Replacement (Equinox)

{ If equipped }Forward Collision Alert Display (3) - Remove - Forward Collision Alert Display Replacement (Equinox)
Hazard Warning Switch (1) - Remove - Hazard Warning Switch Replacement (Equinox)
Instrument Panel Airbag Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [6x]
Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [5x]
Ignition and Start Switch (2) - Remove - Ignition and Start Switch Replacement (Equinox)
Turn Signal Switch (1) - Remove - Turn Signal Switch Replacement (Equinox)
Note the location and routing of the instrument panel wiring harness prior to removal to ensure proper installation.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Pull rearward to disengage the clips.
- With the aid of an assistant, remove the instrument panel upper trim panel (1) from the vehicle.
- Transfer components as necessary.
