Removal Procedure

    Electronic Transmission Shift Control Pushbutton (2) - Remove - Electronic Transmission Shift Control Pushbutton Replacement (Terrain)

    Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Right Side (1) - Remove - Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement - Right Side (Terrain)

    Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Left Side (1) - Remove - Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement - Left Side (Terrain)

    Front Floor Console Bolt (1) @ Instrument Panel - Remove [2x]

  5. Front Floor Console Retainer Bolt (2) @ Instrument Panel - Remove

    Front Floor Side Stowage Compartment Liner (1) - Remove

  7. Front Floor Console Nut (2) - Remove

    Reposition the driver and passenger seat forward to gain access to the front floor console bolt access hole cover (1) and the front floor console bolt (2).

  9. Front Floor Console Bolt Access Hole Cover (1) - Remove
  10. Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool.
  11. Front Floor Console Bolt (2) @ Front Floor Console Bracket - Remove

    Front Floor Console Bolt (1) @ Instrument Panel - Remove [2x]

  13. Front Floor Console Retainer Bolt (2) @ Instrument Panel - Remove

    Front Floor Side Stowage Compartment Liner (1) - Remove

  15. Front Floor Console Nut (2) - Remove

    Front Floor Console Bolt Access Hole Cover (1) - Remove

  17. Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool.
  18. Front Floor Console Bolt (2) @ Front Floor Console Bracket - Remove

    Slide the front floor console assembly (1) back to clear the two guide pins.

  20. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  21. With the aid of an assistant, remove the console from the vehicle.(1)
  22. Transfer components as necessary.
