Installation Procedure
Maneuver the left front brake pipe (2) into the vehicle.
- Remove the plug from the front brake hose inlet.
- Front Brake Hose Retainer (3) - Install
- Front Brake Pipe Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Front Brake Hose Replacement
Front Brake Pipe Clip (1) - Engage
Front Brake Pipe Clip (2) - Engage
- Remove the cap from the brake master cylinder outlet.
- Front Brake Pipe Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Brake Master Cylinder Replacement - With Power Brake Booster and Electronic Brake Control Module
- Front Wheelhouse Liner-Left Side - Install - Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (Equinox) , or Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Left Side (Terrain)
- Radiator Surge Tank - Install - Radiator Surge Tank Replacement
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
- Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure)
- Check the brake system for leaks.
