Installation Procedure

    Maneuver the right front brake pipe (2) into the vehicle.

  2. Front Brake Front Pipe Clip (1) - Engage [2x]

    Brake Master Cylinder Gasket (2) - Install NEW

  4. Maneuver the brake master cylinder (1) into the vehicle.

    Drive Motor Battery Radiator Surge Tank (2) - Install

  6. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  7. Drive Motor Battery Radiator Surge Tank Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Chassis Control Module Bracket (3) - Install

  9. Chassis Control Module Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  10. Chassis Control Module Bracket Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Brake Master Cylinder Adapter Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Rear Brake Front Pipe Nut (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications 

  13. Electrical Connector @ Brake Fluid Level Indicator Switch - Connect
  14. Electrical Connector @ Brake System Control Module - Connect

    Brake Pedal Nut (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications 

  16. If NEW threaded components are being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded components are reused, prepare the threaded components using the following steps:
    1. Remove any loose cured adhesive from the external threads of the components using a lint free cloth.
    2. Thread the cleaned components into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive.
    3. Remove loose debris from internal and external threads using compressed air.
    4. Apply liquid thread locking adhesive in a strip along half of the length of the external threads, starting at the tip, just prior to installation. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers 
  17. Brake Pedal Push Rod Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications 
  18. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding 
  19. Check for brake system leaks.

    Front Compartment Side Sight Shield (1) - Install

    Front Compartment Side Sight Shield Retainer (1) - Install [3x]

    Rear Brake Rear Pipe Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications 

  23. Remove the drain pan.

    With the aid of an assistant, install the high voltage battery tray lower front reinforcement (1).

    High Voltage Battery Tray Reinforcement Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [21x] - Fastener Specifications

    High Voltage Battery Tray Reinforcement Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  27. High Voltage Battery Tray Reinforcement Nut (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  28. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
  29. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
