Circuit/System Testing
- Verify the scan tool Brake Fluid Level Switch 1 parameter is greater than 0.5 V
- If the parameter is less than 0.5 V
- Test circuit 333 for a short to ground.
- If a short to ground is found, repair the fault on the circuit.
- Go to next step: If a short to ground is not found
- With the reservoir full, test for 1.07k - 1.14k ohms between terminal 1 and 2 at the B20AA Brake Fluid Level Indicator Switch 1.
- If the resistance is not 1.07k - 1.14k ohms, replace the B20AA Brake Fluid Level Indicator Switch 1
- Go to next step: If the resistance is 1.07k - 1.14k ohms
- Replace the K160 Brake System Control Module.
