Removal Procedure

    Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  2. Rear Door Upper Center Trim Finish Panel (1) - Remove

    NOTE:

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  4. Rear Door Upper Side Trim Finish Panel - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]

    Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  6. Rear Door Lower Trim Finish Panel (1) - Remove

    Rear Door Water Deflector (1) - Remove

  8. Remove retainers as necessary.
  9. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  10. Route the auxiliary liftgate latch release cable through the hole in the rear door water deflector (2) while removing it from the rear door.
  11. Rear Door Water Deflector (2) - Remove

    Quarter Trim Panel Cover (1) - Remove

    Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the rear door power assist actuator.

    Rear Door Power Assist Actuator Nut (1) - Remove [2x]

    Rear Door Power Assist Actuator Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
