Removal Procedure

    Turn the 3 front compartment sight shield retainer (1) a quarter turn counter clockwise to release.

    Front Compartment Side Sight Shield (1) - Remove

    Front Fender Paint Protector Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]

  4. Front Fender Paint Protector (2) - Remove

    Front Wheelhouse Liner Retainer (2) - Remove

  6. Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) - Remove [6x]
  7. Front Wheelhouse Rear Liner (3) - Remove

    Wiring Harness Retainer (1) - Release

  9. Remove the metal clip at the end of the hood power assist actuator (2).
  10. Hood Power Assist Actuator (2) - Reposition

    Hood Strut Bracket Nut (1) - Remove [2x]

  12. Body Side Hood Strut Bracket (2) - Remove
