Removal Procedure

    NOTE:

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips on both sides of the vehicle.

  2. Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]

    NOTE:

    Reposition the weatherstrip as necessary.

  4. Use a flat-bladed plastic tool to disengage the retaining clip at the top of the body hinge pillar garnish molding (1) on both sides of the vehicle.
  5. Body Hinge Pillar Garnish Molding - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]

    NOTE:

    Use a flat bladed plastic tool to disengage the windshield pillar assist handle covers (1) from the windshield garnish molding on both sides of the vehicle.

  7. Windshield Pillar Assist Handle Cover - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [4x]
  8. Windshield Pillar Assist Handle Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [4x]

    NOTE:

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips on both sides of the vehicle.

  10. Windshield Garnish Molding - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]
  11. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  13. Reposition the instrument panel extension (1) to access the electrical connector.
  14. Disconnect the electrical connector from the instrument panel extension (1).

    Instrument Panel Extension (1) - Remove

    Instrument Cluster Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

    Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  18. Reposition the instrument panel cluster control module (1) to access the electrical connector.
  19. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    Remove the left and right front floor mat (1).

    Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tabs.

  23. Front Floor Console Extension Panel Bolt Access Hole Cover (1) - Remove
  24. Front Floor Console Extension Bolt (2) - Remove

    Move the front seat to access the retainers.

  26. Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

    Move the front seat to access the retainers.

  32. Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tabs.
  33. Front Floor Console Bolt Access Hole Cover - Left Side (1) - Remove
  34. Front Floor Console Retainer Bolt (2) - Remove [5x]

  36. Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  41. Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tabs.
  42. Front Floor Console Bolt Access Hole Cover - Right Side (1) - Remove
  43. Front Floor Console Retainer Bolt (2) - Remove [5x]

    Disconnect the electrical connectors from the front floor console (1).

  45. Slide the front floor console (1) back enough to clear the instrument panel.

    Instrument Panel Compartment Bolt (1) - Remove [5x]

    Open the instrument panel compartment door.

    Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

    Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) - Remove

    Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  54. Reposition the component to access the electrical connectors.
  55. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [6x]

  58. Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

    Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    Instrument Panel Trim Plate Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  69. Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

    Radio Front Speaker Grille Bolt (1) - Remove

  72. Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tabs.

    Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

    Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tabs.

    Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (1) - Remove [8x]

    Using a flat bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  79. Reposition the instrument panel trim pad (1) to access the electrical connectors.
  80. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    Instrument Panel Carrier Bolt (1) - Remove [8x]
