5-7 Reverse Clutch Releases

5-7 Reverse Solenoid E 

The 5-7 reverse solenoid E de-energizes releasing pressure against the 5-7 reverse regulator valve spring force. This blocks 57R CLUTCH FEED fluid from entering the DRIVE 2 fluid circuit. DRIVE 2 fluid is exhausted thru orifice #25 into the EX BACKFILL fluid circuit and thru orifice #21 into the EXHAUST fluid circuit.

5-7 Reverse Clutch Assembly 

The 5-7 reverse clutch is released allowing 57R CLUTCH fluid to exhaust thru orifice #45 into the 57R CLUTCH FEED fluid circuit. 57R CLUTCH FEED fluid continues thru orifice #22 into the EXHAUST fluid circuit.
