Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
Front Brake Hose Fitting (1) - Remove
- Front Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (2) - Remove and DISCARD [2x]
- Front Brake Hose (3) @ Front Brake Caliper - Remove
- Plug the front brake caliper inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Remove
- Cap the brake pipe fitting to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
- Front Brake Hose Retainer (2) - Remove
- Front Brake Hose (3) - Remove
NOTE:
Do NOT reuse the front brake hose fitting gaskets.
