Removal Procedure

Using the appropriate tool, release the integral retainers (1).
Hood Front Edge Weatherstrip (2) - Remove

Hood Insulator Retainer (1) - Remove [10x]
Release the 3 integral tabs at the bottom of the hood insulator.
Hood Insulator (2) - Remove

Remove the 2 metal clips at the ends of the hood strut (1).
Hood Strut- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]

Hood Front Bumper (1) - Remove [2x]

Hood Hinge Nut (1) - Remove [4x]
With the aid of an assistant, remove the hood. (2)
