Installation Procedure
Hood Primary Latch Release Cable (1) - Install
Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Handle (2) - Install
- Attach the mechanics wire to the new hood primary latch release cable (2) and guide the cable in.
- Hood Primary Latch Release Cable Grommet (1) @ Dash Panel - Install
Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator - Left Side (2) - Install
- Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Retainer (1) - Install [4x]
Connect the cable (1) from the 3 retainers (2).
Hood Primary Latch Release Cable (1) @ Hood Primary and Secondary Latch (2) - Connect
Battery Tray (2) - Install
- Install the retainers.
- Battery Tray Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Battery Cover (1) - Install
Battery (1) - Install
Battery Hold Down Retainer (2) - Install
- Battery Hold Down Retainer Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Battery Hold Down Retainer (3) - Install
- Install the electrical connector (2.
- Battery Hold Down Retainer Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Engine Control Module Bracket (2) - Install
- Battery Hold Down Retainer Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Engine Control Module (2) - Install
- Connect the electrical connectors. (1)
Connect the electrical connector.
- Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block (5) - Install
- Install wiring harness terminals.
- Battery Negative Post Clamp Nut (4) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Battery Positive Cable Junction Block Nut (3) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Engine Wiring Harness Fuse Block Nut (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Power Distributor Fuse Block Cover (1) - Install
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
Intake Air Splash Shield (2) - Install
- Intake Air Splash Shield Retainer (1) - Install [12x]
