Removal Procedure

    Front Floor Console (1) - Remove - Front Floor Console Removal and Installation

    Open the front floor console armrest (1).

    Using a flat - bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  4. Front Floor Console Trim Plate (1) - Remove

    Using a flat - bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  6. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  7. Front Floor Console Rear Trim Panel (1) - Remove

    Front Floor Console Cup Holder Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  9. Using a flat - bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
  10. Front Floor Rear Console Trim Plate (2) - Remove

    Front Floor Rear Console Side Trim Panel Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [8x]

  12. Using a flat - bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
  13. Front Floor Rear Console Side Trim Panel - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]

    Front Floor Console Compartment Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

  15. Using a flat - bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
  16. Front Floor Console Front Compartment (2) - Remove
  17. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    { If equipped } Front Floor Console Compartment Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

  19. { If equipped } Using a flat - bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
  20. { If equipped } Front Floor Console Front Compartment (2) - Remove
  21. { If equipped } Disconnect the electrical connector.

    Front Floor Console Compartment Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

  23. Using a flat - bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
  24. Front Floor Console Compartment Trim Plate (2) - Remove
  25. Disconnect the electrical connector and release the wiring harness retainers as necessary.

    Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Middle (1) - Remove

    Front Floor Console Stowage Tray Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]

    Front Floor Console Stowage Tray Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]

  29. Disconnect the wiring harness retainers.

    Remove the Front Floor Console Accessory Power Rear Receptacle (1) :

    1. Look into the receptacle (1). There are two 3 mm (0.11 in)  tab windows 12 mm (0.47 in)  from the front of the receptacle. The EL - 52488  Accessory Power Outlet Socket Remover pushes the plastic latches from these tab windows and the receptacle can be pulled straight out.
    2. Place one side of the "T" portion of the EL - 52488  Accessory Power Outlet Socket Remover into the tab window. The EL - 52488  Accessory Power Outlet Socket Remover will not fit straight into the receptacle (1). Angle the EL - 52488  Accessory Power Outlet Socket Remover slightly for insertion into the receptacle.
    3. Insert the other side of the "T" into the opposite tab window.

      You must move the EL - 52488  Accessory Power Outlet Socket Remover handle toward horizontal to engage the other tab window.

    4. Use the EL - 52488  Accessory Power Outlet Socket Remover to pull the receptacle (1) straight out.
    5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the accessory power receptacle (1).
  31. If EL - 52488  Accessory Power Outlet Socket Remover tool fails to release the receptacle (1) from the retainer, perform the following alternate method:
    1. Insert a small grinding tool with a cutoff wheel into the socket.
    2. Remove the plastic latches in the 3 mm (0.11 in)  square windows.

    Using a suitable plastic trim tool, release the retaining tabs.

    Using a flat - bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  35. Front Floor Console Stowage Tray (1) - Remove
