Turn the 3 front compartment sight shield retainer (1) a quarter turn counter clockwise to release.

Front Compartment Side Sight Shield (1) - Remove

Front Fender Paint Protector Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
Front Fender Paint Protector (2) - Remove

Front Wheelhouse Liner Retainer (2) - Remove
Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) - Remove [6x]
Front Wheelhouse Rear Liner (3) - Remove

Wiring Harness Retainer (1) - Release
Remove the metal clip at the end of the hood power assist actuator (2).
Hood Power Assist Actuator (2) - Reposition

Disconnect the electrical connector and release the wiring harness retainers as necessary.
Wiring Harness Retainer (1) - Release [2x]
Remove the metal clip at the end of the hood power assist actuator (2).
Hood Power Assist Actuator (2) - Remove
