Removal Procedure

    NOTE:

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    Turn the 3 front compartment sight shield retainers (1) a quarter turn counter clockwise to release.

    Front Compartment Side Sight Shield (1) - Remove

    NOTE:

    Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool.

    Front Fender Ornamentation Vent Bolt (2) - Remove

  4. Release the retainers.
  5. Front Fender Ornamentation Vent (1) - Remove

    NOTE:

    Wiring Harness Retainer (1) - Release [2x]

  7. Release the metal clip at the end of the hood power assist actuator (2) and reposition as necessary.

    Disconnect the electrical connector and release the wiring harness retainers as necessary.

  9. Hood Hinge Nut- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [4x]
  10. With the aid of an assistant, remove the hood. (2)

    Hood Hinge Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]

  12. Hood Hinge (2) - Remove
