Removal Procedure

    Remove the 4 front compartment front sight shield clips (1)

  2. Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Retainer (2) - Release [2x]
  3. Front Compartment Front Sight Shield (3) - Remove

    NOTE:

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    Turn the 6 left side and right side front compartment sight shield retainers (1) one quarter turn counterclockwise to release.

    Front Compartment Side Sight Shield- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]

    Using the appropriate tool, release the integral clips on both sides of the vehicle.

  7. Remove the left and right side front compartment side sight shield -front (1).

    Open the 4 cargo tie down loop access covers with an appropriate tool.

  9. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
  10. Cargo Tie Down Loop (2) - Remove [4x]

    Front Trim Finish Compartment Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]

  12. Front Trim Finish Compartment Closeout Cap- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]

    Disconnect the electrical connector and harness retainers as needed.

  14. Front Trim Finish Compartment Bolt (1) - Remove [10x]
  15. Front Trim Finish Compartment (2) - Remove
  16. Place the front trim finish compartment (2) on a clean flat surface.
