Removal Procedure
Front Seat (2) - Remove - Front Seat Removal and Installation
Front Seat Belt Anchor Plate Tensioner Cover (1) - Remove
- Front Seat Belt Anchor Plate Tensioner Bolt- Upper (2) - Remove
Use a flat bladed plastic tool to remove the center pillar lower garnish molding lower hole cover (1).
Use a flat bladed plastic tool between the center pillar lower trim panel (1) and the center pillar upper trim panel to disengage the upper retaining clips.
- Pull from both sides of the center pillar center trim panel (1) to release the middle and lower retaining clips.
- Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel (1) - Remove
Reposition the front and rear side door weatherstrips as necessary.
- Use a flat bladed plastic tool at the front of the side door sill garnish molding (1) to disengage the retaining clips from the front side door sill garnish molding (2).
- Use a flat bladed plastic tool at the rear of the side door sill garnish molding (1) to disengage the retaining clips from the body lock pillar garnish molding (3).
- Feed the seat belt tensioner through the panel.
- Side Door Sill Garnish Molding (1) - Remove
Start at the rear lower corner of the door opening and pull the weatherstrip (1) away from the door opening weld flange.
- Front Side Door Weatherstrip - Body Side (1) - Remove
