Removal Procedure

Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.
Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover- Right Side (1) - Remove

Instrument Panel Compartment Bolt (1) - Remove [5x]

Open the instrument panel compartment door.

Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

Make sure the instrument panel compartment door lock cylinder (1) is in the unlock 12 o'clock position.
Position the instrument panel compartment door latch (2) in the up position and hold while accessing the poke hole (3).
Apply a light load with a suitable tool and depress the retainer tumbler through the poke hole (3) on the instrument panel compartment door latch (2).

While keeping the retainer tumbler (1) depressed, push the instrument panel compartment door lock cylinder (2) from the back of the instrument panel compartment door latch.
