Component Testing

- Ignition/Vehicle - Off
- Remove the component:Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly
- Verify a condition does not exist with the component:Contamination with metallic debris
- If a condition exists
Repair or replace as necessary
- Go to next step: If no condition exists
- If a condition exists
- Verify the resistance is within the specified range for each solenoid valve. - Refer to:Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module Assembly Inspection
- If the resistance is not within range
Replace the component:Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly
- Go to next step: If the resistance is within range
- If the resistance is not within range
- Install - DT-48616-10 Adapter Harness @ Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly & Vehicle wiring harness X1
- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Perform the scan tool control function:Line Pressure Control Solenoid Valve - Increase - From lowest value to maximum value
Verify the scan tool parameter:
- Line Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Control Circuit High Voltage Test Status=Not Run or Ok
- Line Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Control Circuit Low Voltage Test Status=Not Run or Ok
- Line Pressure Control Solenoid Valve Performance Test Status=Not Run or Ok
- If not the specified state
Replace the component:Q8 Control Solenoid Valve Assembly
- Go to next step: If the specified state
- All OK.
