Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify DTC P182E, P1915 is not set as a history DTC.
- If any of the DTCs are set as history
- Go to next step: If none of the DTCs are set as history
- Operate the component:S3 Transmission Shift Lever - Select each position
Verify the scan tool parameter:Internal Mode Switch @ K71 Transmission Control Module=Matches the current selector lever position
- If not the specified state
Refer to: Range Selector Lever Cable Adjustment
- Go to next step: If the specified state
- If not the specified state
- Operate the component:S3 Transmission Shift Lever - Select each position
Verify the scan tool parameter:
- { R, D, L }Park/Neutral Position Switch=In Gear
- { P, N }Park/Neutral Position Switch=Park/Neutral
- If not the specified state
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the specified state
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Refer to: Circuit/System Testing
- Go to next step: If the DTC is not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
