Removal Procedure

    NOTE:

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    Remove the left and right windshield garnish molding (1). Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement (Equinox)Windshield Garnish Molding Replacement (Terrain)

    Remove the left and right instrument panel outer trim cover (1). Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement (Equinox) Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement (Terrain)

    Instrument Panel Extension Bolt (1) - Remove

  4. Disconnect the harness clip. (2)

    Instrument Panel Extension Bolt (1) - Remove

    Release the instrument panel extension retainers (1) with a plastic trim tool.

  7. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    Instrument Panel Extension (1) - Remove

  9. Transfer components as necessary.
