Removal Procedure

  1. Open the endgate.

    Pickup Box Endgate Access Hole Cover Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [12x]

  3. Pickup Box Endgate Access Hole Cover Panel (2) - Remove

    Open the pickup box auxiliary endgate step (2).

  5. Pickup Box Auxiliary Endgate Hinge Bolt (1) - Remove [10x]
  6. Pickup Box Auxiliary Endgate Step (2) - Remove
  7. Using the appropriate trim tool, remove the access hole covers to gain access to the wiring harness.
  8. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  9. Remove the retainers and reposition the wiring harness as necessary.

    Pickup Box Endgate Hinge Bolt - Upper (1) - Remove [4x]

  11. Pickup Box Auxiliary Endgate - Upper (2) - Remove

    Pickup Box Auxiliary Endgate Hinge Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]

  13. Pickup Box Endgate Center Closure Side Hinge- Right Side (2) - Remove
  14. Cut the wiring harness zip ties and release the wiring harness retainer from the hinge cover.
