Removal Procedure
- Open the pickup box auxiliary endgate step.
Pickup Box Endgate Access Hole Cover Panel Bolt (1) - Remove [12x]
- Pickup Box Endgate Access Hole Cover Panel (2) - Remove
- Open the endgate step.
Remove the metal clips at the ends of the pickup box auxiliary endgate dampener (1) and remove.
Pickup Box Auxiliary Endgate Hinge Bolt (1) - Remove [10x]
- Pickup Box Auxiliary Endgate Step (2) - Remove
- Using the appropriate trim tool, remove the access hole covers to gain access to the wiring harness.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the retainers and reposition the wiring harness as necessary.
Pickup Box Endgate Hinge Bolt - Upper (1) - Remove [4x]
- Pickup Box Auxiliary Endgate - Upper (2) - Remove
Pickup Box Auxiliary Endgate Hinge Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
- Pickup Box Endgate Center Closure Side Hinge- Left Side (2) - Remove
