Installation Procedure

  1. GM5791775

    On/Off Vehicle Switch (1) - Install

  2. Secure the retaining tabs.
  3. GM5788655

    Communication Interface Module Microphone (1) - Install

  4. Secure the retaining tabs.
  5. GM5787158

    Mobile Telephone Microphone (1) - Install

  6. Secure the retaining tabs.
  7. GM5811495

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  8. Instrument Panel Trim Pad - Right Side (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [8x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Trim Plate (2) - Install

  11. Instrument Panel Trim Plate Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Air Outlet Bezel (1) - Install

    Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Radio Front Speaker Grille- Right Side (2) - Install

  15. Secure the retaining tabs.
  16. Radio Front Speaker Grille Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  18. Radio Control (1) - Install

    Radio Control Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Radio Control Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Cover (1) - Install

  22. Secure the retaining tabs.

    Instrument Panel Bolt Cover (1) - Install [2x]

  24. Secure the retaining tab.

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel (2) - Install

  26. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  28. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster (1) - Install

    Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications 

  30. Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) - Install

    Instrument Panel Compartment (1) - Install

    Open the instrument panel compartment door.

  33. Instrument Panel Compartment Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Compartment Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Floor Console (1) - Install

  36. Connect the electrical connectors to the front floor console (1).

    Front Floor Console Retainer Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications 

  38. Front Floor Console Bolt Access Hole Cover (1) - Install

    Front Floor Console Lower Applique (1) - Install

    Front Floor Console Extension Panel (1) - Install

    Front Floor Console Retainer Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications 

  42. Front Floor Console Bolt Access Hole Cover (1) - Install

    Rear Floor Mat (1) - Install

  44. GM6029241

    Tire Air Compressor (2) - Install

  45. Tire Repair Sealer and Tire Air Compressor Retainer (1) - Install and hand tighten

    Front Floor Console Lower Applique (1) - Install

    Front Floor Console Extension Panel (1) - Install

    Front Floor Console Extension Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications 

  49. Front Floor Console Extension Panel Bolt Access Hole Cover (1) - Install

    Install the left and right front floor mat (1).

  51. Return the seat to its original position.

    Connect the electrical connector.

  53. Instrument Cluster (1) - Install

    Instrument Cluster Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

  58. Windshield Garnish Molding- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

    Windshield Pillar Assist Handle Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

  60. Windshield Pillar Assist Handle Cover- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [4x]

    Body Hinge Pillar Garnish Molding- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

  62. Install the weatherstrip as necessary.
