Installation Procedure

  1. GM5835215

    Driver Monitoring Camera (1) - Install

  2. GM6081454

    Clip the instrument panel steering column upper trim cover (1) to the instrument panel carrier.

  3. GM5819301
    NOTE:

    Some components not shown for graphic clarity.

    Connect the electrical connector. (1)

  4. GM5819296

    Secure the instrument panel steering column upper trim cover (1) to the instrument panel steering column lower trim cover.

  5. Return the steering column to its original position.

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  7. Instrument Panel Trim Pad - Right Side (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [8x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Trim Plate (2) - Install

  10. Instrument Panel Trim Plate Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Air Outlet Bezel (1) - Install

    Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] Front End Upper Tie Bar Bolt Fastener Specifications

    Radio Front Speaker Grille- Right Side (2) - Install

  14. Secure the retaining tabs.
  15. Radio Front Speaker Grille Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  17. Radio Control (1) - Install

    Radio Control Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Radio Control Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel Cover (1) - Install

  21. Secure the retaining tabs.

    Instrument Panel Bolt Cover (1) - Install [2x]

  23. Secure the retaining tab.

    Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel (2) - Install

  25. Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Trim Pad - Left Side (2) - Install

  27. Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Air Outlet Bezel (1) - Install

    Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connectors.

    Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications 

  33. Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) - Install

    Radio Front Speaker Grille- Left Side (2) - Install

  35. Secure the retaining tabs.
  36. Radio Front Speaker Grille Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Compartment (1) - Install

    Open the instrument panel compartment door.

  39. Instrument Panel Compartment Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

    Instrument Panel Compartment Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Floor Console (1) - Install

  42. Connect the electrical connectors to the front floor console (1).

    Front Floor Console Retainer Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications 

  44. Front Floor Console Bolt Access Hole Cover (1) - Install

    Front Floor Console Lower Applique (1) - Install

    Front Floor Console Extension Panel (1) - Install

    Front Floor Console Retainer Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications 

  48. Front Floor Console Bolt Access Hole Cover (1) - Install

    Rear Floor Mat (1) - Install

    Tire Air Compressor (2) - Install

  51. Tire Repair Sealer and Tire Air Compressor Retainer (1) - Install and hand tighten

    Front Floor Console Lower Applique (1) - Install

    Front Floor Console Extension Panel (1) - Install

    Front Floor Console Extension Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications 

  55. Front Floor Console Extension Panel Bolt Access Hole Cover (1) - Install

    Install the left and right front floor mat (1).

  57. Return the seat to its original position.

    Connect the electrical connector.

  59. Instrument Cluster (1) - Install

    Instrument Cluster Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Connect the electrical connector.

    Windshield Pillar Assist Handle Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

  66. Windshield Pillar Assist Handle Cover- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [4x]

  68. Install the weatherstrip as necessary.
