Removal Procedure

  1. GM5775549

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  2. Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover (1) - Remove
  3. GM5796820

    Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) - Remove

  4. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
  5. GM5796821

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  6. Reposition the component to access the electrical connectors.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  8. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster (1) - Remove
  9. GM5756575

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  10. Parking Brake Control Switch (1) - Remove
  11. GM5796823

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  12. Accessory Power Receptacle Switch (1) - Remove
  13. GM5796824

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  14. Dimmer Switch (1) - Remove
  15. GM5756689

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  16. Trailer Brake Control Switch (1) - Remove
