Installation Procedure

  1. GM5821164
    NOTE:

    Some components not shown for graphic clarity.

    Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Deflector (1) - Install

  2. Connect and position the wiring harness.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Deflector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications 

  4. GM5821161

    Instrument Panel Carrier Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications 

  5. Instrument Panel Outer Air Outlet Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications 
  6. Instrument Panel Trim Pad Bolt (3) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications 
  7. GM5796821

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  8. Instrument Panel Knee Bolster (1) - Install
  9. GM5796820

    Instrument Panel Knee Bolster Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications 

  10. Instrument Panel Fuse Block Access Hole Cover (1) - Install
  11. GM5775549

    Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover (1) - Install
