Removal Procedure
- NOTE:
Left side shown, right side similar.
Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips on both sides of the vehicle.
- Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]
- NOTE:
Left side shown, right side similar.
Reposition the weatherstrip as necessary.
- Use a flat-bladed plastic tool to disengage the retaining clip at the top of the body hinge pillar garnish molding (1) on both sides of the vehicle.
- Body Hinge Pillar Garnish Molding- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]
- NOTE:
Left side shown, right side similar.
Use a flat bladed plastic tool to disengage the windshield pillar assist handle covers (1) from the windshield garnish molding on both sides of the vehicle.
- Windshield Pillar Assist Handle Cover- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [4x]
- Windshield Pillar Assist Handle Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [4x]
- NOTE:

Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips on both sides of the vehicle.
- Windshield Garnish Molding- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- NOTE:
Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool.
Reposition the instrument panel extension (1) to access the electrical connector.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the instrument panel extension (1).
Instrument Panel Extension (1) - Remove
Release the tabs to remove the sun load temperature and headlamp automatic control ambient light sensor (1).
