Removal Procedure

  1. GM5776107

    Front Floor Console (1) - Remove - Front Floor Console Removal and Installation 

  2. GM5793914

    Front Floor Console Rear Cover Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]

  3. GM5786876

    Open the armrest cover.

  4. Release the retainers with a suitable plastic trim tool.
  5. Front Floor Console Rear Trim Plate (1) - Remove
  6. Front Floor Console Rear Cover Bolt (2) - Remove [2x]
  7. GM5786877

    Release the retainers with a suitable plastic trim tool.

  8. Reposition the component to access the electrical connectors.
  9. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  10. Front Floor Console Rear Trim Panel (1) - Remove
  11. GM5793915

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  12. Front Floor Rear Console Side Trim Panel- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [2x]
  13. GM5793916

    Front Floor Console Storage Tray Bolt (1) - Remove [8x]

  14. Unclip the front floor console wiring harness (2) and reposition away from the front floor console stowage tray.

    Front Floor Console Stowage Tray- Lower (1) - Remove

  16. Reposition the component to access the electrical connectors.
  17. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  18. Front Floor Console Stowage Tray- Upper (2) - Remove

    Release the retainers with a suitable plastic trim tool.

  20. Reposition the front floor console cup holder trim plate (1) to access the electrical connectors.
  21. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  22. Front Floor Console Cup Holder Trim Plate (1) - Remove
  23. GM5903901

    Automatic Transmission Control Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

  24. Gear Shift Control Module (2) - Remove
  25. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  26. GM5793476

    Remove the front floor console rear air duct harness retainer.

  27. Front Floor Console Rear Air Duct Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
  28. GM5793479

    Front Floor Console Rear Air Rear Duct (1) - Remove

  29. GM5795198
    NOTE:

    Quantity of clips and routing of the front floor console wiring harness may vary based on option content.

    Release the wiring harness clips and remove the front floor console wiring harness (1).

    NOTE:

    Quantity of clips and routing of the front floor console wiring harness may vary based on option content.

    Release the wiring harness clips, electrical connectors and remove the front floor console wiring harness (1).

    NOTE:

    Quantity of clips and routing of the front floor console wiring harness may vary based on option content.

    Release the wiring harness clips, electrical connectors and remove the front floor console wiring harness (1).
