Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify the night vision LVDS video cable is properly connected at the P16 Instrument Panel Cluster Control Module, B276 Night Vision Camera, K172 Night Vision Control Module, and in-line connections; and there is no damage to the cable or connections.
    • If connection problems or cable damage is noted 

      Perform the appropriate repair or replacement to correct any issues

    • Go to next step: If no connection problems or cable damage is noted 
  3. Replace the night vision LVDS video cable between the K172 Night Vision Control Module and the P16 Instrument Panel Cluster Control Module. Ignition ON/Vehicle in Service Mode.
  4. Ignition ON.
  5. Verify DTC is not set.
    • If DTC is not set 

      All OK.

    • Go to next step: If DTC is set 
  6. Replace the K172 Night Vision Control Module
  7. Ignition ON.
  8. Verify DTC is not set.
    • If DTC is not set 

      All OK.

    • Go to next step: If DTC is set 
  9. Replace the P16 Instrument Panel Cluster Control Module
