Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition/Vehicle - Off
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector: K71 Transmission Control Module
  3. Ignition - On / Vehicle - In Service Mode
  4. Test for 2 to 12 V between the test points: Serial Data circuit terminal 31 & Ground
    • If not between 2 and 12 V 

      Repair the open/high resistance in the circuit.

    • Go to next step: If between 2 and 12 V 
  5. Replace the component: K71 Transmission Control Module
