Installation Procedure

  1. Fig 1: Exploded View Of Oil Pump Components With Tightening Sequence

    Oil Pump (3) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Oil Pump Bolt (4, 5) - Install and tighten in sequence [6x] 15 N.m (11 lb ft)

    Install the oil pump flow control solenoid valve harness (2) to the retainer (3).

  4. Connect the oil pump flow control solenoid valve harness electrical connector (1) to the oil pump flow control solenoid valve.
  5. Oil Pump Sprocket - Install - Oil Pump Sprocket Replacement 
  6. Oil Pan - Install - Oil Pan Replacement (AWD) , or Oil Pan Replacement (FWD) .
