Inspection Procedure

- Inspect the oil pan for the following conditions:
- Damage to the plug hole (1)
- Damage to the oil filter sealing surface (2)
- Gouges or damage to the lower oil pan sealing surfaces (3)
- Damage to the high pressure part seal area (4)
- Damage to the front differential hole (5)
- Gouges or damage to the upper oil pan sealing surfaces (6)
- Damage to the positive crankcase ventilation separator drain bolt hole (7)
- Damage to the brace mounting bosses (8)
- Repair or replace the oil pan and/or oil pan components as necessary.
- Inspect the oil pan drain plug or drain plug hole for damage.
