Removal Procedure

Drive Belt (1) - Remove - Drive Belt Replacement

Install the EN-46106 tool (1) through the starter mounting hole.

NOTE:
Do not discard the crankshaft balancer bolt immediately. The Balancer bolt will be used during the balancer installation.

Crankshaft Balancer Bolt (1) - Remove

Install the EN-44226-5 protector (1) in the nose of the crankshaft.
Install the EN-41816 remover (2) to remove the crankshaft balancer.
Tighten the center bolt of the EN-41816 remover to pull the crankshaft balancer off of the crankshaft.
Remove the EN-41816 remover from the crankshaft balancer.
Remove the EN-44226-5 protector from the crankshaft.
