Installation Procedure

Automatic Transmission Flex Plate (1) - Install
- Install 2 NEW bolts (2) in location at the top and bottom of the flex plate bolt pattern allowing the flex plate (1) to hang in position.
- Install the remaining NEW flex plate bolts (2) and tighten in sequence.
- First Pass: 30 N.m (22 lb ft)
- Final Pass: 45 degrees using the EN-45059 Angle Meter
- Transmission - Install - Transmission Replacement (Front Wheel Drive) , or Transmission Replacement (All Wheel Drive with LGX)
CAUTION:
This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
