Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  3. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (Aluminum Wheel)

    {If equipped} Front Brake Pad Wear Sensor Harness Retainer (2) - Remove

  5. Front Brake Hose Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove
  6. Front Brake Hose Bracket (3) - Remove

    Front Brake Hose Fitting (1) - Remove

  8. Front Brake Washer (2) - Remove and DISCARD [ 2x ]
  9. Front Brake Hose (3) @ Front Brake Caliper - Remove
  10. Plug the front brake hose outlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
  11. Plug the front brake caliper inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.

    Front Brake Front Pipe Nut (2) - Remove

  13. Front Brake Hose Clip (1) - Remove
  14. Front Brake Hose (3) - Remove
  15. Plug the front brake hose inlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
  16. Cap the front brake front pipe outlet to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
